Why is guided fly fishing for trout and grayling better than DIY in Bavaria?

As a fly fisherman visiting Germany and especially Bavaria the selection and the variety of the bavarian fly fishing opportunities can leave you overwhelmed and sometimes helpless without a fly fishing guide in the beautiful Bavarian Alps and the chalk streams of Northern Bavaria around Nuremberg. The choice of the right water should not be underestimated as the local knowledge of your fly fishing guide is the key to your success.

In short, a fly fishing guide can offer a perfect fly fishing experience where you as a guest would often be left to explore a big body of water in the short amount of your valuable vacation.

Moreover , you can improve your casting and presentation techniques with the aid of an experienced fly fishing guide.

I, as a professional fly fishing guide in Germany will bring you directly to the hot spots and show you how to interpret the waters and the reactions of the Bavarian salmonids properly. I will also teach you – as a full member of the FFF (International Federation of Fly Fishers) Guides Association – how to search the gin clear Bavarian waters for trout and other salmonids and how to approach the spotted fish with the best working tactics in Bavarian waters. You will learn to choose the best fly matching the current circumstances in order to get you connected to the weary and spooky Bavarian trout, grayling and other salmonids.
With my professional help you will get to know Bavarian top fly fishing waters such as the rivers Traun, Isar, Mangfall and many more quickly and effectively. Building upon these basics we will together transform our joined experiences on the water into fly fishing success. Of course a guided fly fishing day is also useful to refresh your own fly fishing knowledge as well as your casting and presentation techniques in Bavaria and the Alps region.
